Benchmade 585SBK Review: Overall, there is very impressive workmanship on knife. The coating on the blade is even and looks durable. Blade came very sharp. Assisted opening works well and is very quick. Blade locks open with no wiggle or movement at all. Safety works well. Axis lock is excellent. Spring for assisted opening makes closing with one hand a little harder, but still can be done. Only downsides are that it is a thick knife and the Valox handle has a cheap feel to it. 1 ...
